Crutcher keynotes Dominican University youth conference

Award-winning author and freedom to read advocate Chris Crutcher keynotes “The Truth About Choice” day-long conference February 25, which investigated the impact of the choices adults make on the array of reading material available to children and teens. The event was hosted by Dominican University’s Butler Children’s Literature Center in River Forest, Illinois. Crutcher spoke to a sellout crowd of 75 youth librarians and library school students on the topic of “Every Child Her Choice: When Real-Life Fiction Meets the Censor.”
