Just a book away
James Owens, founder and president of the Santa Monica, California-based The World Is Just a Book Away (WIJABA), reads to children at the October 27 opening of the Little Dolphins school in Padang, Indonesia. As of December 2010, the nonprofit WIJABA built or was in the process of building 25 libraries in earthquake-ravaged Indonesia as well as a mobile library that serves more than 15,000 children with over 25,000 books.
