Library Design Showcase
University of Wyoming, William Robertson Coe Library, Laramie
Navigation and Color: The most striking features of the interior of the renovated and expanded William Robertson Coe Library are the open floor rotundas that connect multiple levels visually and functionally. The design also incorporates “spineways” that connect the expansion to the renovated space, with distinctive carpet patterns that guide students from the stacks and study areas to exits.
