Watch this video, an interview with Brett Bonfield, Chair of the ALA Future Perfect Presidential Task Force (PDF file). Brett discusses some of the (sometimes controversial ) thoughts “outside the box” on the current ALA organism and recommendations for a more efficient and even more dynamic ALA.
The six-person task force presented their year-long work in a report to the ALA Executive Board and Council. Their task was to examine ALA governance and imagine all ideas as if ALA was newly forming what would make for a good organization.
