So the trip to Washington isn’t in your budget? No problem! The Association for Library Trustees, Advocates, Friends and Foundations (ALTAFF) is  sponsoring Virtual Library Advocacy Day. 

By calling and/or e-mailing your elected officials in Washington and asking them to vote for libraries, you can make a difference. Just five minutes of your time will help support and strengthen the efforts of the library supporters in Washington rallying on June 29. If you cannot call or e-mail your elected official on June 29, please take action between June 28-July 2.

Today, over 1,000 librarians (along with Friends and Trustees) made their way to the U.S. Capitol to visit with their senators and representatives to discuss library issues.Make sure your voices and concerns are heard too. For the whats, whys, and hows, visit ALTAFF's website.
