MCCA and ALA Establish Haiti Relief Fund

BOSTON, Jan. 15 -- As the world comes to Haiti’s aid following the devastating earthquake just days ago, we recognize the impact that this disaster has caused for the families and friends of the Haitian community both worldwide and here in Boston. The MCCA and the American Library Association have set up the “MCCA/ALA Haiti Relief Fund” through Citizens Bank. We will accept donations by cash, check or credit card at a Donation Station located at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center for the duration of the ALA Mid-Winter Meeting.
