ALA’s Electronic Polls Open for 2013 Election

Polls opened today for the 2013 ALA election.

Polls opened today for the 2013 ALA election, and the Association has made an election guide available for the convenience of voters. “Your Guide to the 2013 Elections” is available in two formats: as a PDF file and a flip book.

Use the guide to read about the candidates for ALA president, treasurer, and Council. (Candidates for ALA president and treasurer have also published statements in American Libraries.)

Between March 19 and March 21, ALA is notifying eligible voters (members in good standing as of January 31, 2013) by email of their unique passcodes and information about how to vote online. Polls close Friday, April 26, at 11:59 p.m., Central time.
