A Florida International University student has tested positive for the novel coronavirus, the school confirmed March 25. The unidentified student was last on campus at FIU’s Law Library on March 7. The library is located inside Rafael Diaz-Balart Hall, part of the university’s main campus. The library remained open until March 15. Based on the fact that 17 days have passed since the student was on campus, it is unlikely that other members of the university community were exposed, university officials said.
