David Rothman writes: “A whopping 54% of ebook users multitask while reading their books. And for audiobooks, the equivalent percentage is even higher, 67%. Those are the preliminary findings of the Panorama Project, a valuable joint initiative of publishers, librarians, and others—which among other activities explores book usage in a multimedia context. Panorama-connected researchers at Portland State University also tallied multitasking for TV/movies (47%), print books (37%), and games (33%).”
