Donald C. Dickinson, 89, professor emeritus of library science at the University of Arizona, died October 10. He established the University of Arizona library science program in 1969 and was its first director. He had also worked as an academic librarian in Illinois, Michigan, Kansas, Minnesota, and Missouri. Dickinson was the author of several books, including Dictionary of American Book Collectors, Dictionary of American Antiquarian Bookdealers, and A Bio-Bibliography of Langston Hughes 1902-1967.
