The Public Library Association Conference, to be held March 23–25 in Portland, Oregon, will include a new Intellectual Freedom Forum in response to the coordinated book banning attempts currently sweeping the nation. The forum will include three sessions, facilitated round table discussions, and the opportunity to register for one-on-one consultations with Office for Intellectual Freedom staff. Conference speakers include podcaster Luvvie Ajayi Jones, attorney Brittany K. Barnett, Jeopardy! Champion Amy Schneider, and actor Kal Penn, while author lunches will feature Clothilde Ewing and Linda Holmes.
