Griffey Crowned Battledecks Champion
PrintA raucous, standing-room-only crowd of about 250 stayed after the closing of the exhibit hall to watch Jason Griffey win the Battledecks competition.
Battledecks is a not-completely-serious contest in which participants give a presentation based on slides they’ve never seen before on a topic they get minutes beforehand. The results are frequently hilarious and often surprisingly insightful.
Lisa Carlucci Thomas was runner-up in the competition, while JP Porcaro took third. Watch for all the extemporaneous competitions on AL Focus in the coming days.
